We are a family owned and operated provider of Early Childhood Education and Care in Byron Bay.
We offer 'Long Day Care and Preschool' services for families across the Byron Shire with children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years.
We are open from 7am until 6pm Monday to Friday.
We have a highly qualified and experienced educational team, who provide early education and care through a variety of philosophical and theoretical perspective to support the best possible outcomes for ALL children.
We implement the Australian Early Childhood National Curriculum - The Early years Learning Framework and prepare and support children with their transition to formal schooling.

Byron Busy Kids has been educating and caring for families and children of the Northern Rivers for well over two decades. Our service is located in the Byron Arts and Industrial Estate' with a beautiful indoor and outdoor setting. Our early childhood educators are well equipped to encourage and support the healthy development of your child to reach their full potential. Our team of professional educators are absolutely dedicated to helping your child to achieve his or her full potential. Through engaging in meaningful relationships with children and families we can make certain that your child's future will be a happy and prosperous one.
Our Method
We use the best and most recent research to shape our teaching methods to best foster each child’s learning and development. We believe that children first develop attachments within their families and then with other trusting adults, such as educators. These relationships provide children with a secure base for exploration and learning. Developing these secure, respectful and reciprocal relationships is fundamental to our work with children and their families. We view all children as equal and work effortlessly to develop strong relationships with all children. We acknowledge children’s right to be active participants in their own learning and we support and empowered children to express their views and ideas. A child’s opinion must be valued so their perspectives, autonomy and initiative are acknowledged and their right to freedom of speech is actively pursued and supported. We as Educators will protect and cherish the innocence of children and thus provide a safe and secure environment.
